Neuchatel and three lakes region - White Wines
Wines of Neuchatel gift a refreshing life away from all trouble and tribulations. It is known and liked as the seductively light and refreshing Chasselas wines from the three lakes’ zone arouse the appetite. The Chardonnay and the Pinot Gris are highly liked grape variety of the region and also mostly approved. The Pinot Noir is the brilliant red grape varieties prominently cultivated in the region. This region is also known for providing well-structured and highly-distinguished wines and extremely liked. It becomes stronger, more powerful and more complex after some years of ageing. The color of Oeil de Perdrix reminds that of the partridge's eye (A French name). It’s an aromatic and fruity rose produced from the Pinot Noir grape. This particular variety is the ultimate invention of the Neuchatel’s area and was later created and imitated by other Swiss wine-producing regions.
