Vins des Chevaliers is based in the village of Salgesch (canton of the Valais) in Switzerland. The cellar was founded by the Mathier-Kuchler family in the year of 1930. Mathier-Kuchler was a determined and far-sighted businessman; and thus to develop numerous of winegrowing techniques and the first to bottle their wines under the Salgesch term. Within a few time the reputation of the Vins des Chevaliers spread far and wide, thanks to exports across the Atlantic and to Asia. The company has significantly
achieved numerous of prizes obtained in competitions held in Switzerland and abroad for its superb quality of wines. The Constantin-Barmaz family has now taken over the reins of the cellar, in 2004. They bear a very strong confidence as the exceptional winegrowing heritage of the Valais. Decisively turned towards the future and its new owners have renovated the entire site.
