Ticino - White Wines
Ticino a mind blowing spot of Switzerland is known for its extra ordinary red and white wines. While some white wines are manufactured from Chasselas, Sauvignon, Semillon and Chardonnay. Ticino - Red Wines
Covering over 85% of the vineyards of Ticino, Merlot is the absolute king of Switzerland. Ticino's rich garnet-red Merlot has a bunch of black cherries or red berries, which is agreeably sinuous on the palette with little acidity. Today a large number of experiments are having with Cabernet Sauvignon and Gamaret. Abundant of Pinot Noir are cultivated in higher regions i.e. more than 500 meters above.
