The Imesch cellar was established by Leopold Imesch and his wife Marie de Chastonay in 1898. It was innate by their son Henri, who, later handed over to his daughter Marie-Helene. Today Marie-Helene becomes the president of the company. The climatic situation and the region’s soil are tremendously favorable to the vine.
So its founder had chosen to develop his movement in Sierre. His successors have particularly fond of this Region, where they cultivate almost all their grapes. From the onset, the Imesch family determined to cultivate grapes to the zones of Valais, particularly the Petite Arvine, the Paien, the Humagne, and Cornalin. The wines from the zones of Rhone Valley, Marsanne and Syrah are extremely liked by its peoples. The Fendant, the Johannisberg and the Pinots are alluring features as the traditional wines of the region.
