Guido Brivio, a renowned oenologist who has gained a solid professional training in France and America. Bearing a long family customary in the wine trade, he had the occasion to take over an old wine grower that had been specialized for some time in the production of the local wines of Ticino, at the end of the eighties. Air vents formed under the rocks of old landslides due to the presence of natural fresh, which make a draught of
new air at a temperature of 10°-12° C all year long. These cellars are characterized by natural micro-climate that is mainly suitable for the preservation and protecting of wines. Remarkable investments were made to refurnish the cellars that are exhumed properly in the rock of Monte Generoso, in the zone of the Vignoo wine cellars, in Mendrisio.
