In 1831, Valsangiacomo was started as a wine company concentrating in the importing and promoting of wines. Later on the company has gradually established as a producer and also become a real protagonist and the point of reference for cantonal wine growers and producers. In the 20th Century this company has emerges as a family firm and now arrived in its sixth generation.
The main diversity of Valsangiacomo is represented by Merlot. Special awareness is kept to grape selection so as to best acclaim the character of this noble and refined vine species. Today, the Valsangiacomo Company is flourishing in an alarming rate and thus produces a large assortment of wines. This company also produces grapes which is best situated on the Medrisiotto hills.
