To facilitate the cellaring and sale of the wine, La Tour de Marsens, Marcel and Gaston Dubois bought a property in 1957. Originally the vast arena was controlled by Oscar Dubois and employed as a winemaker at the Clos des of the town of Lausanne. After sudden death of Oscar, his wife managed the estate until her sons handled over the reins. Till then it is emerging as a prominent wine growing regions of Switzerland and thus captures global visitor’s fascination.
As the company was flourishing to its larger extend the family estates have further segmented into two. Marcel and Christian shifted to Cully, to the (Petit Versailles) while Gaston and Jean-Daniel stayed in Epesses at the (Vieux-Pressoir). The (La Demoiselle) and (Dezaley-Marsens) white wines, and the (Crete de Coq) and (St-Saphorin Pinot noir) red wines are their flagship products, after their division. The estate is essentially planted with Pinot Noir and also several specialties comprehensive the range of wines, since 1984. Today Gaston, the grandfather, is successfully gained around ten hectares of vineyards to his own. Now his son is managing intensely with the help Salomon, the winegrower, and Emile, the cellar man.
