Caves de Riondaz is a former wine storehouse of the Sierre region, located at the heart of the Valais with its eclectic native soil and remarkable quantity of sunshine. The Caves de Riondaz was founded by Julien Clavien in 1944, sees itself as both the keeper of traditions and as a pioneer of the most cutting-edge technologies. The Caves de Riondaz is successful in acceptance to modify without turning its back on tradition.
Today, the Caves de Riondaz is coming with more than 250,000 litres of bottled wines. In 1920, Julien Clavien was already cellaring a respectable 20,000 litres of wine. With 15 different grape varieties, the region is tremendously attracting wine lover attention. It vinifies 12 white specialities and 8 red specialities, from the total varieties of grapes. It has several vineyards and cellars that harvests numerous of wines the Sierre and Central Valais region.
