Uvavins–Cave de la Cote is founded by a number of winegrowers in the year 1929. Uvavins–Cave de la Cote now groups is complied with more than 400 producers to come up with their best product and services. Thus, the cooperative makes more than 60 varieties of wines, with all the different terms of source of the region of “La Cote”, along the Lake of Geneva.
Experts and technicians visited the place where the harvest is cellared by Uvavins and its 1’800 or so plots. Over 800 vats with a content capacity starting from 1’000 to 25’000 litres (200 to 5’500 gallons) permit the embellishment and wine maturation of 4 million litres (880’000 gallons) in saturated conditions. Here lays a vast hall for storage of 2 millions bottles in constant setting for temperature and the hygrometry. The Wine Producers of the Uvavins–Cave de la Cote and its cooperative members occupies a total area of 415 hectares (1’037.5 acres).
