
The Artisans Viticole d’Ollon represents 145 winegrowers and winemakers who cultivate more than 48 hectares of vines. 80 % of which made of white grapes and 20 % of red grapes, Artisans Viticole d’Ollon spread throughout the Ollon vineyard was founded in 1906.
The district soil, stony and shallow locale is distinguished by its sturdy gypsum content. Situated in Antagnes, the five production sites can be distinguished as La Roche, Sus-Village, Verschiez and St-Triphon. The Association’s vineyard is encompassed of 37 hectors of Chasselas, 0.5 hectors of white specialties, 4.75 hectors of Pinot noir, 4.75 hectors of Gamay and 1 hectors of red specialties.
The Ollon hill-side vineyard is influenced by the foehn wind which offers a hot and dry weather, with its southern exposure at the foot of the Pre-Alps.
