How to Reach
By Boat : Take a boat from Brunnen which takes only 10 minutes to reach The Swiss way. The visitors can go on by foot from Seelisberg to reach The Swiss way as it takes one hour to reach there.
To mark the occasion of 700th (1291-1991) anniversary of Switzerland a 35 km long hiking trail was constructed as a joint project of cantons around the southern part of the lake Lucerne. The Swiss path starts on the Rütli Meadow where the Confederation was founded and ends in Brunnen, in the Swiss Expatriates Square. The Swiss Way relates to the history of Switzerland surrounded by scenic landscapes Each canton created one of the 26 sections of Swiss Way , and represents the order of cantons on 35 km long path .Each canton corresponds to the order of there acceptance into the Confederation. The 35 km pleasant Swiss Way represents the culture and local history of the area. The path is even accessible to non walkers who can visit the different sections on the route by boat, train or bus.
