Staubbach waterfalls offer a breath taking picturesque beauty to the visitors. People were fascinated by the 300 m high Staubbach waterfalls. For centuries this fascinating view of milky-white waters thundering down over dark green rocks have inspired painters, poets and travel writers all over the world. Goethe wrote a song “Gesang der Geister über den Wassern” in 1779 dedicated to Staubbach waterfalls. The song makes an excellent comparison of water and soul which makes this place famous in late 18th Century. These spectacular waterfalls are opened through out the year for visitors and are at a walking distance from the village.
