Situated between Goschenen and Andermatt the plunging granite walls of this ravine that the Urner prople are said to have entered into a pact with the devil. There are countless myths about the Teufelsbrücke (Devil's Bridge), but no one really knows how it came by its name. This ravine shows a wealth of contrast a hellish ravine and a heavenly valley. Nowhere else you can find two such extremes at the same time except here only at the heart of Alps, at the watershed of Europe.
