How to Reach
The bus number 12 runs frequently from the Bern train station. It takes 15 minutes to reach the last stop, where the museum is clearly visible on the opposite side of the road.
Sixty- six years later, the work of one of the greatest modern artist of 20th century has found a permanent home in Bern the Swiss capital. The Zentrum Paul Klee, which opens today, will house more than 4000 pictures by Paul Klee. The marvelous building with its wave-like form was designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano. Besides art exhibits The Paul Klee Center is also a platform for music, theatre, dance and literature. Zentrum Paul Klee boasts the world’s most important collection of paintings, water colors, drawings and a great deal of biographical material in text and picture form. The building opens from 9am to 6pm, but the exhibition halls are only opened from 10am to 5pm.
