Founded and established in the year 1982/83 by Urs Raussmuller , The Hallen Fur Neue Kunst is the leading museum for the New Art. An important museum of contemporary art, it has fundamentally changed the development of art in the western world since 1965. Stretched in the area of 5500 sq. m the museum contains the important works by the leading international artists from 1960s to 1970s. The main artists include Joseph Beuys, Sol Le Witt, Carl Andre and Mario Merz. Its ideal presentations of major art works have been a model for museums all over the world. The museum remains opened on Saturday from3-5 pm and on Sunday from 11 to 5 pm.
