Brugg is the municipality in the Swiss Canton of Aargau which is located at the confluence of Reuss, Aare and Limmat Rivers. It is located about 16 km from cantonal capital of Aarau, 28 km from Zurich and 45 km from Basel. The city is the home of Swiss farmers, Union and is the location of a campus of the University of the Applied Sciences. Vindonissa Museum located on the northwestern Switzerland is listed as the world heritage site of national significance and is the major attraction of the city. An engineer unit of the Swiss army is also based in the city. As the name indicated it grew up around its bridge near which is located the Black Tower and the town hall. In the old world Main Street stands the house in which the educationist Heinrich Pestalozzi died and his grave is situated over here at Bir which is also visited by the people.
