How to reach By car or by train : It will take 15 minutes from Martigny to Alpine zoo.The zoo is at a walking distance from Railway station.
More the 2000 alpine animals wait for the visitors in this surface area of 35,000 square meters. The zoo is among the highest visited tourist spots in Europe. Visitors can observe the animals from a very close distance in there natural surroundings. The zoo remains open through out the year from 9.00 am until dusk. The zoo offers parking facilities, Pizzeria restaurant, picnic grounds and Alpine swimming pool to the visitors. The restaurant remains open from November to May. It remains closed on every Monday and Tuesday from mid September to end October.
