Day 01: UK – Zurich
Arrive in Zurich, where our representative will be waiting to escort you to your hotel. Have an overnight stay in Zurich.

Day 02: Zurich - Appenzell - Liechtenstein - St Moritz
On the second day of your Lake and Mountains of Switzerland Tour, you will drive through the breathtaking scenery of Switzerland’s most famous cantons and on your way you will have stoppage at the old town of Appenzell, housing the legendary ‘Landsgemeindeplatz’, an ancient meeting place. Then you will proceed to Liechtenstein before going through the Rhine Valley and Julier Pass, an important travel route. Have an overnight stay at the Swiss spa resort at St. Moritz.

Day 03: St Moritz - Bernina Express to Tirano - Lugano
Go on a memorable train trip on the Bernina Express. You will cross the Alps to Tirano in Italy. Enjoy traveling at the height of 2,000 meters. Rejoin the coach for a journey along the shores of Lake Como. Have an overnight stay in Lugano.

Day 04: Lugano - Caslano - Lake Maggiore - Täsch area
Post breakfast, head to explore Lugano, known as the ‘gaiety and romance of Italy’. Then you will visit the famous chocolate factory in Caslano before returning to Italy. You will also explore Lake Maggiore and avail the optional boat trip to Isola Bella, one of the Borromean Islands. Then return to Switzerland, via Simplon Pass and travel to Täsch area for an overnight stay.

Day 05: Täsch area - Zermatt - Lake Geneva - Lausanne
Morning excursion by train to Zermatt located at the foot of the mighty Matterhorn. Post lunch drive through the vineyards of the lower Rhone Valley to the northern shores of Lake Geneva. Have an overnights stay in Launsanne.

Day 06: Lausanne - Gruyère - Berne - Lake Thun - Interlaken - Lucerne area
Morning visit to the famous cheese-making town of Gruyère and to the local cheese factory. Then you will head to Switzerland’s beautiful capital Berne, overlooking the Aare River. Then you will move along the shores of Lake Thun and have a stoppage at Interlaken, set in the foothills of Jungfrau Mountains. Then continue through the Brunig Pass to Lucerne area for an overnight stay.

Day 07: Lucerne - Zurich area
Explore the best of Lucerne, known as one of the most fascinating medieval cities of Switzerland. Then avail the stunning cable car ride to the 3,000 meters summit of Mount Titlis or choose to go on a boat cruise on the lake. Then leave for Zurich in the late afternoon.

Day 08: Zurich - UK
Last day of your Lakes and Mountains of Switzerland Tour begins with a transfer to Zurich airport after having breakfast. Board the flight back to UK.
