Day 01: (Sat): UK – Zurich
Arrive in Zurich, where our representative will be waiting to escort you to your hotel. Have an overnight stay in Zurich.

Day 02: (Sun): Zurich – Appenzell – Liechtenstein – St Moritz
On the second day of your Grand Tour of Switzerland, you will go on a sensational drive through some of Switzerland’s famous cantons. Watch out the Old Town center of Appenzell and Town Hall along with the legendary Landsgemeindeplatz, a place where the community meetings takes place. Towards the east you will reach Vaduz in the principality of Liechtenstein and then you will start ascending the Julier Pass. You will also pass through Grisons and watch out the best views of Alps and clear lakes. Have an overnight stay in St. Moritz.

Day 03: (Mon): St Moritz – The Bernina Express Alpine train to Tirano – Lugano
Today you will leave St. Moritz via the Bernina Express train. Starting in St. Moritz, you will cross the Bernina Pass via the Swiss Poschiavo area to Tirano in the Italian Valtellina. Then rejoin your coach for a journey along the shores of Lake Como and reach the Swiss Border and the lakeside city of Lugano.

Day 04: (Tue): Lugano – Lake Maggiore – Täsch
On the 4th day of your Grand Tour of Switzerland, you will visit the chocolate factory in Caslano, located in the vicinity of Lugano. Then you will return to Italy and savor the superb atmosphere of Lake Maggiore. You can choose to go on a boat trip to Isola Bella and after that return to Switzerland via Simplon Pass for an overnight stay in Täsch.

Day 05: (Wed): Täsch – Zermatt – Lake Geneva – Lausanne
Morning excursion by train to Zermatt, situated at the foot of Matterhorn. Pass through the vineyards and apricot groves of the lower Rhone Valley to Lake Geneva in the afternoon. Then arrive in Lausanne.

Day 06: (Thu): Lausanne – Gruyère – Berne (included sightseeing) – Lake Thun – Interlaken – Lake Lucerne area
Have a stoppage at Gruyère to visit the local cheese factory. Then proceed to the Switzerland’s capital, Berne and visit places like Bear Pit and the Monumental Federal Palace. Then through the shores of Lake Thun head towards Interlaken. After visiting Interlaken proceed to Brunig Pass and then to Lake Lucerne for an overnight stay. You can choose to enjoy a folklore evening in Lucerne.

Day 07: (Fri): Lucerne (included sightseeing) – Zurich
Surrounded by a lake and clear mountain waters of the River Reuss, Lucerne is the place that you will explore on this day. You can opt to go on an excursion by funicular and cable car to the 6,227-foot summit of Stanserhorn. Drive to Zurich town in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 08: (Sat): Zurich – UK
Last day of your Grand Tour of Switzerland begins with a transfer to Zurich airport after having breakfast. Board the flight back to UK.
