Day 01: Arrival London – Amsterdam
Start your European Breakaway Insight Vacations with arrival at London. At the Thistle Marble Arch Hotel, our tour director meets you and escorts you on a road journey to Dover from where you proceed to cross the English Channel to Calais. Continue drive to Amsterdam crossing Dunkirk, Belgium and Netherlands en route. Transfer to Hotel Eden Rembrandt Sq. on arrival and relax for the day. Welcome drink in the evening and later embark on a canal cruise that takes you to a floating restaurant located at the city harbor. Highlight dinner here and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Amsterdam – Volendam – Amsterdam
Post breakfast city sightseeing tour covering Mint Tower, Dam Square and Royal Palace. Later, we take you on an excursion to the ancient village of Volendam that is a must visit in tours to Europe. Here, you can visit a cheese farm and a ‘Klompenhuis’, the place where wood clogs are made. In the evening, drive back to Amsterdam and visit a diamond-cutting factory and the Sailors’ Quarter before retiring to the hotel for the night.

Day 03: Amsterdam – Rhineland
European Breakaway Insight Vacations today take you to Rhineland. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Rhineland via the border town of Arnhem and Ruhr Basin to reach Cologne for sightseeing of its majestic Gothic Cathedral. Proceed to Bonn and after a short visit, continue drive to Rhine Gorge where you embark on a Highlight Cruise at Boppard that takes you to the famous Loreley Rock. Disembark at St. Goar and board the coach to transfer to Hotel Steigenberger Mannheimer Hof. for night stay.

Day 04: Rhineland – Lucerne
Morning after breakfast, we take you for a short visit to Heidelberg for sightseeing of the ruined remains of the cliff-top castle. Later drive through the Rhine Valley to Freiburg and arrive at Black Forest, the hub of cuckoo clock industry. Spend some time to see the manufacture of these clocks and then continue drive through Lake Titisee and the Swiss border to Schaffhausen. Short visit to the breathtaking Rhine Falls, a must tourist destination in all Europe tour packages. Later proceed to the lakeside Lucerne region via Zurich. Upon arrival, transfer to Hotel Astoria. Freshen up and then go for a shopping spree in the town. You may also be part of a Swiss Fondue Party in the evening (optional). Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Lucerne
Full day sightseeing tour of Lucerne after breakfast at hotel. Visit the huge Lion Monument, Chapel Bridge and Jesuit Church. We also offer a Premium Highlight of the European Vacation Tour Package – a fun-filled cogwheel train and cable car ride to the Mount Pilatus peak from where you can enjoy beautiful vistas of snow-clad Eiger and Jungfrau mountains. Return to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 06: Lucerne – Paris
Depart for Paris today morning. Check out from hotel and transfer to Paris. Overnight stay at Hotel Paris Rive Gauche upon arrival.

Day 07: Paris
Enjoy you European Vacation Tour in the beautiful capital city of Paris. Post breakfast guided sightseeing tour covering the Île de la Cité for sightseeing of Notre Dame Cathedral. Also visit Louvre and enjoy the magnificent Opera House. Continue tour to Obelisk at the heart of the Place de la Concorde and then drive through Champs Élysées to arrive at Arc de Triomphe. The Premium Highlight of this tour package is a visit to the Eiffel Tower. Later proceed to the Église du Dôme. Afternoon at leisure. You may choose an excursion tour to Versailles (optional). Evening, watch the lively cabaret show before retiring to the hotel for night stay.

Day 08: Paris – London
European Breakaway Insight Vacations come to an end today. Check out from hotel and drive through the World War One Battlefields of the Somme on a return journey to the Calais port from where you take a short Channel crossing to England via the White Cliffs of Dover. Upon arrival, transfer to London by road and then proceed to the Thistle Marble Arch Hotel from where you could continue your journey back home.
