DAY 1: ARRIVE GENEVA
On arrival at Geneva, enjoy the day at leisure at Hotel Le Warwick. You are free to spend the day relaxing. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 2: GENEVA - MONTREUX - ZERMATT
We begin the Swiss Panorama Tour with a city-tour of Geneva. Tour the scenic parks on the banks of Lake Geneva, see the old town attractions with its cathedral and visit the unique town hall and the European seat of the United Nations. In the late morning we leave Geneva and drive to Lausanne and Montreux. We pass by Chillon Castle, the 13th century fortress whose claim to fame stems from a verse in a poem by Lord Byron. In the afternoon we proceed through Valais, the valley of the river Rhone with its orchards and vineyards. At Taesch we board a cogwheel train that takes us to the mountain resort of Zermatt at the foot of the mighty Matterhorn. Dinner and overnight at FIRST CLASS HOTEL
DAY 3: ZERMATT - NUFENEN PASS - LUGANO
Enjoy the morning at leisure in Zermatt. See local wonders as you admire the quaint old farmhouses and barns in the vicinity. Do some shopping or enjoy an optional cogwheel train tour up to Gornergrat for a delightful view of the surrounding snow-covered peaks. Post-noon board the train to Täsch where our bus is waiting to take us over the breathtaking Nufenen Pass into the Italian speaking part of Switzerland, to the garden city of Lugano. Overnight at FIRST CLASS HOTEL - dinner on your own.
DAY 4: LUGANO - LAKE COMO - MALOJA PASS - ST. MORITZ
Today we carry on with the Swiss Panorama Tour Package with Switzerland Flexi Tours and drive along a scenic road to Gandria where we cross the border into Italy, along the romantic shores of Lake Como via Menaggio to Chiavenna in the lovely Breggaglia Valley. In Castasegna we re-enter Switzerland and begin our ascent along the thirteen hairpin bends over the Maloja Pass. Pass by sparkling blue Lake Sils and Silvaplana and arrive at the world-renowned alpine resort of St. Moritz. (Italian visa necessary for some nationalities). Dinner and overnight at FIRST CLASS HOTEL.
DAY 5: ST. MORITZ - VADUZ - ZURICH
We leave St. Moritz in the morning and cross the Fluela Pass and arrive at Davos. Enjoy sightseeing and lunch at the capital of Principality of Liechtenstein, Vaduz. Vaduz is famous for its majestic castle that is the royal residence of the present Prince and his family. Drive back to Zurich later in the afternoon through the Toggenburg region with its picturesque farmhouses.
Dinner on your own. Overnight at FIRST CLASS HOTEL.
DAY 6: ZURICH - RAPPERSWIL - BOATRIDE ON LAKE OF ZURICH
At 10.15 a.m. the Switzerland Flexi Tours coach will pick you up for a tour that shows you the most interesting sights of Zurich and its surroundings. We start with a city-tour of Zurich. Along the Höhenstrasse that offers spectacular views into the Alps, we drive to Rapperswil, the town of the Roses, where you tour the spectacular Rose Garden, the castle and Deer Park on the Lindenhof. Return to Zurich by boat approximately at 4 p.m. and return to your hotel individually. Dinner on your own. Overnight at FIRST CLASS HOTEL.
DAY 7: ZURICH
Have breakfast at the hotel in Zurich, Switzerland and check-out individually not later than 11 a.m.
